I'm just experimenting with posting a link to a public Facebook group in a place which I know is searched by a certain major search engine, to see if it then starts searching the group, which so far it doesn't even seem to have heard of, let alone searched the contents of. This arises out of a discussion I had on another group as to the benefits and disadvantages of having a public group. The group is Inverness & Highland Antiques, Retro, Collectables buy sell group - which I set up several years ago, as the nearest comparable group was in Moray and I had something I wanted to sell locally. There must have been a need, as the group has grown to over 1800 members with very little work on my part, and continues to have regular posts both from local traders and private individuals (though the dealer posts now predominate).
