I've been confused for a long time as to how to print double sided successfully to avoid a printer jam on my Samsung laser printer . The printer's own double sided system uses the last edge printed to go back into the printer, and the printer jams.
I've always found that in order to print double sided you need to start with the same edge of the paper each time. So... I think... this works for me, even when there's an odd number of pages. This method has the paper come out stacked in the right order too. 1) Print all the even sides, in reverse order. In a 5-page document you'll have page 4 facing downwards, with page 2 facing downwards on top of it 2) Put the leading edge of your stack of printed paper back in, with the blank side uppermost. My printer prints on the upper side of the paper, if yours prints on the lower side then this will not work for you. 3) Print all the odd sides, but don't reverse the order - you'll have 1 facing downwards (with 2 on the back), then 3 facing downwards (with 4 on the back), then 5 facing downwards, taken from the the printers reserve of blank paper.
