Our new fridge freezer came without the wall spacers or instructions mentioned in the manual, and since it has wheels at the back, without the spacers it would have got shoved against the wall frequently in a busy household.
Turns out it uses two of the standard C00278297 spacers - but fits them in a different way to older smaller fridges. This information was difficult to find online or from Hotpoint/Indesit staff, so I thought I'd put it up here in a public place as with my past washing machine belt post which is frequently accessed. Here is (presumably) the instruction sheet that should have come with the fridge.

Many thanks for this. We had a minor breakdown because the installers had not fitted spacers to the Fridge/Freezer. The callout engineer solved the problem and diagnosed it had got too close to the back wall. So he had their stores send me a pair of spacers - BUT nowhere on the Hotpoint site, nor in our manual did it show how to fit them. (The ones in the manual were a totally different design.) Your guidance is much appreciated.

Glad to be of assistance. You're the first person to comment on this one, unlike the washing machine belt one which is a perennial favourite. http://reynoldsbooks.weebly.com/peterreynoldsbookscom-news-9658/how-to-replace-the-belt-on-a-hotpoint-wma58-washing-machine-the-quick-and-easy-cable-tie-method

Just fitted them - been wondering how to - the fridge moved against the wall so we had to! Thanks for the pics, they paint a 1000 words. Thanks again.
